用心做,原來真的會被看見。
 
上兩星期,接到一個讓人意外的來電,電話另一方說是代表全球知名手錶交易平台Chrono24致電,希望替即將訪港的CEO Carsten Keller邀約我們見面。
 
原來這位「微服私訪」的CEO,希望向在地小店了解更多本港鐘錶銷售行業發展概況,以及作為Chrono24商戶的使用情況及意見。結果,這天Mr. Keller與他的團隊的店內逗留了接近兩小時,與我們作出深度交流。
 
訪談尾聲,在店內閒逛參觀,想不到吸引他注目的,不是琳瑯手錶而是我們陳列室的玩具擺設、波鞋和酒辦。
 
 
Mr. Keller打趣問,店內何故放置這麼多有趣的東西。我們解釋,其實這些玩物全都是兩位負責人的心頭好,放到店內是希望與客人分享志趣,亦希望客人到訪時能有「Feel Like Home」的自在感,隨意傾談交流。這些種種,說到底都是希望客人能擁有一個開心和貼心的體驗,就正如我們常說:「做生意係緊要,但可以同錶友交流,同客人建立互信關係,都係我哋好重要嘅養份。」相信Chrono24團隊也能感受到我們這份心意。
 
最後,非常感恩Chrono24這次邀請,團隊選上了Basel One作為交流對象,這對我們多年來的努力,是種更勝言語的肯定。我們也很榮幸,可以代表本港同業,與這名舉足輕重的CEO見面交流。

Putting heart into our work—turns out it truly gets noticed.
 
Two weeks ago, we received an unexpected call. On the other end, a representative of the renowned global watch trading platform, Chrono24, reached out with an invitation. They hoped to arrange a meeting with their CEO, Carsten Keller, who was visiting Hong Kong.
 
 
Mr. Keller, in what we might call a “low-key visit,” wanted to get firsthand insights from local watch shops about the development of Hong Kong’s watch retail industry. He was also interested in hearing our experiences and feedback as a Chrono24 merchant. To our surprise and delight, Mr. Keller and his team ended up staying for nearly two hours, during which we had an in-depth exchange.
 
Towards the end of the visit, as he wandered through our store, what caught his attention wasn’t our display of watches but rather our collection of toys, sneakers, and the little mini-bar in our showroom.
 
Mr. Keller, with a touch of humor, asked why we had so many quirky items on display. We explained that each piece is a personal favorite of our two co-owners, placed here to share our passions with our customers. We want visitors to feel a “home-like” comfort, to feel at ease and enjoy a relaxed chat.
 
Ultimately, these efforts are aimed at creating a welcoming and personalized experience. As we always say, while doing business is important, building mutual trust and connecting with watch enthusiasts and our clients are equally essential to us. We believe the Chrono24 team could sense this spirit in our work.
